QPlease describe your role at the Amorepacific Melbourne Office.
I am the Team Manager of Sulwhasoo and LANEIGE at the Amorepacific Melbourne Office, collaborating with marketing and sales teams to drive trends and innovation in the rapidly evolving beauty industry. Sulwhasoo is renowned for its unique heritage and skincare technologies, while LANEIGE is celebrated for its innovative and creative products. My role is to guide these two brands in increasing brand awareness and achieving success in the global beauty market.
QWhat do you find most interesting about working at the Amorepacific Melbourne Office?
I love our enjoyable working environment. Employees at the Amorepacific Melbourne Office share a positive attitude and strong synergy. We trust each other, openly exchange opinions, and present our true selves, creating a fun and family-like atmosphere at work. For example, we have a team planning day where we all gather to share our daily lives and tasks, which I find both productive and enjoyable. Also, we enjoy breakfast together every Wednesday!

QPlease describe the work culture at the Amorepacific Melbourne Office in one word.
We have a supportive culture where team members help each other. Every department, including finance, logistics, marketing, sales, HR, IT, and GM, collaborates seamlessly. As the Finance Team Manager, it's my job to liaise with many teams to compile financial reports. Everyone promptly provides the necessary information to ensure accuracy, but when additional help is needed, we sometimes hold meetings to work together. Our director is also very cooperative and listens to employees when issues arise.
QWhat opportunities does Amorepacific offer for employee growth?
The Amorepacific Melbourne Office has a well-established manual for work processes, making it an excellent environment to learn new aspects of finance. Given our relatively smaller office size, there are numerous opportunities to step out of one’s comfort zone, tackle a variety of tasks, and expand one’s knowledge. Employees with diverse expertise support and learn from each other. Additionally, our office offers educational sessions, and occasionally we travel to the APAC RHQ office in Singapore or the Seoul HQ for further training.

My happiness stems from working with my team. As the Team Manager at INNISFREE, I am proud to be able to develop my favorite brand alongside my exceptional colleagues at the Amorepacific Melbourne Office. Although our team is small, it is dynamic, allowing me to build close relationships with team members. They are all passionate about skincare and beauty, and they are eager to find ways to expand our brand’s presence in the Australian beauty market. Collaborating with the HQ in Seoul is also a pleasure. We tackle issues, overcome challenges, and celebrate our successes together, which brings me great joy.
