QWhat is the most satisfying aspect working at the Amorepacific New York Office?
As the Leader of the Digital Business Division, I am pleased to witness our office's growth firsthand. The Amorepacific New York Office has expanded significantly over the past few years, and the accomplishments stemming from our collaborations with exceptional leaders and colleagues make me happy and proud. I have also experienced significant personal growth here and am grateful for the opportunities provided. The company's recognition and support of employees with earnestness and potential is another satisfying aspect.
QWhat opportunities does Amorepacific offer for employee growth?
At the Amorepacific New York Office, we have opportunities to move to different teams to help our teams grow, which also gives employees the opportunity to showcase their abilities. Team members can move between departments based on their interests and competencies, and this team relocation system significantly contributes to employee growth. For example, despite the roles being quite different, we respected one employee's choice to transition from the Finance Team to the Social Media Team, which led to impressive results. This example demonstrates how our office carefully listens to internal voices, supports their development, and grows with them.

I believe it is the autonomy that sets us apart. While we follow basic approval processes for major projects or assignments, we have the freedom to make decisions and judgments on daily tasks or smaller projects. This proactive environment makes me feel trusted by both the company and my team, boosting my confidence and enhancing work efficiency. This sense of autonomy fosters ownership and responsibility.
QWhat is your most memorable experience at the Amorepacific New York Office?
I remember outdoor activities with my colleagues, especially the volunteer work at Governors Island during my first week at the office. We planted trees in the hot weather, but it was fun to interact with others in a casual setting as a new employee. We have numerous opportunities to socialize with other teams, build closer relationships, and share enjoyable experiences.
QDo you have any advice for future Amorepacific applicants?
The ability to adapt is vital! Your role is highly important as the office continues to grow and evolve. Regardless of your team or position, you should be able to adapt and respond to unexpected changes. Everyone at the Amorepacific New York Office is outstanding with professional expertise. QPlease describe your role at the Amorepacific New York Office.
As the Brand General Manager for the LANEIGE team, I have witnessed rapid growth in the beauty market of the United States. LANEIGE has become the top skincare brand in Sephora and has even gone viral on social media. The "LANEIGE Buzz" in the US significantly contributes to the global growth of the brand; now, brand awareness is increasing worldwide, proving the quality of our products. What's more, all of our brands are experiencing fast growth at the New York Office. INNISFREE's distribution channels have expanded into Sephora and Sephora at Kohl's since opening the first store. Our office continuously reviews internal organizations in response to business changes and embraces new challenges in every aspect, such as retail, social media, and digital strategies.
QWhat is a key aspect to consider at the Amorepacific New York Office?
Our work varies day-to-day because the beauty industry encompasses a wide range of products, from skincare to makeup. This variety makes it exciting and rewarding for me to witness our results and achievements instantly. Therefore, passion and attention are crucial. To not only work successfully but also enjoy what you do, you need to be genuinely passionate about our brands, categories, and consumers and become a true 'beauty enthusiast.' Many people in the LANEIGE team are VIB Rouge members (the highest membership tier) at Sephora. Most of our tasks are driven by data-based insights, instinct, and intuition. The more interest you have in the brand, the more opportunities there are to push projects forward. The passion and attention of the employees are at the foundation of growth at the Amorepacific New York Office.
QWhat is your most unforgettable moment while working at the Amorepacific New York Office?
I remember building our team as the Brand Manager of LANEIGE. It was truly rewarding to see team members from diverse backgrounds and careers grow into outstanding leaders through their work. I am grateful to be part of a team that values collaboration, mutual respect, and a fun work environment. Despite the many fast-paced projects, we take the time to celebrate and enjoy the moments when something good happens for a team member.
