At Amorepacific's Shanghai Office, we closely collaborate with other teams and the headquarters in Seoul to bring our groundbreaking innovations to life.
QWhen do you feel happiest while working at the Amorepacific Shanghai Office?
I am happiest when we successfully complete a project. As a member of the Marketing Team for Sulwhasoo—a brand with a rich heritage within Amorepacific—I take pride in introducing our brand and products to the world. Each product launch is the result of extensive discussions on how to showcase its benefits and meet the customers' ever-changing needs. Through continuous communication and rigorous refinement, our initial ideas evolve into a comprehensive plan and ultimately lead to detailed execution. This long and meticulous journey is ultimately rewarding, fueling my passion and making me proud when we achieve our goals.

As the Digital Commerce Marketing Team Manager, I oversee driving sales growth across digital platforms, analyzing investment efficiency, and developing strategies to enhance profits and generate new sales. Our team collaborates closely with Amorepacific's brands to boost brand awareness and achieve outstanding results within the Chinese beauty market.

QPlease describe your role at the Amorepacific Shanghai Office.
As the Agent Sales Team Manager, I am responsible for offline sales of Ryo and Mise-en-scène. Ryo has a significant market share and strong popularity in the Chinese market, and you can find the brand in many places like shopping malls. Chinese customers are so familiar with the brand that they have given nicknames to the Daily Solution series, like 'Hong Lu (Red Ryo)' and 'Lu Lu (Green Ryo).' They appreciate the brand's concept, which incorporates traditional Korean medicine. Given its high potential, my goal is to further expand the brand's presence in the Chinese market.
QWhat is a key aspect to consider at the Amorepacific Shanghai Office?
The Amorepacific Shanghai Office consistently emphasizes a customer-centric approach. We prioritize customer needs and base all our decisions on these principles. By thinking and working from the customer's perspective, we utilize the best methods to connect with them more effectively and expand our touchpoints, ensuring easy access to our products.
QWhat is the most memorable project you worked on at the Amorepacific Shanghai Office?
Among the many projects I have been involved in, I particularly remember the new product launches. Each time, teams beyond just the brand team come together to contribute. For instance, with the launch of a new Ryo product, various teams—including the Key Account Team, Strategy Team, Product Development Team, Brand Marketing Team, and Demand Supply Planning Team—collaborated closely. We analyzed supply and demand with the Production Team to ensure timely product distribution. This strong teamwork allowed us to distribute all products precisely and promptly, even under tight deadlines. Despite the urgency, we received positive customer feedback and achieved impressive sales figures, making this project especially memorable.
