AMOREPACIFIC signs agreement to support research of dermatologists

AMOREPACIFIC Corporation (CEO Shim Sang-bae) today (April 15) held a signing ceremony for AMOREPACIFIC Dermatologist Research Funding Program at the 2015 Korean Dermatological Association Spring Seminar at the Songdo Convensia, Incheon, Korea.

The AMOREPACIFIC Dermatologist Research Funding Program began in 2010 under the agreement signed between AMOREPACIFIC Corporation and the Dermatological Research Foundation to improve the dermatological research capability and competitiveness of Korea. As part of this program, AMOREPACIFIC Corporation has agreed to provide funding to high performing dermatologists, as selected by the Dermatological Research Foundation on the basis of their dermatological research work. As of the end of last year, 20 dermatologists have been selected for the program, and AMOREPACIFIC Corporation[HKJ1]  will provide KRW 800 million for their research work this year.

This program has now run for 5 years, starting from 2010. The new agreement extends it for a further five years. AMOREPACIFIC Corporation and the Dermatological Research Foundation plans to select four outstanding high-potential dermatologists each year through 2019 and provide them each with KRW 20 million for two years.
