Sustainability 2020-10-27
  • Offering eco-friendly experience by allowing customers purchase the amount of shampoo and body wash product they want
  • Look forward to customer response by delivering new experience, eco-friendly value, and high-quality service

Amorepacific (Chairman & CEO Suh Kyung-bae) opened a ‘refill station’ for the first time in Korea’s cosmetics industry. The refill station sells the content of shampoo and body wash products by the amount.

The refill station is located at a key area in ‘Amore Store Gwanggyo’, which opened in mid-October. It sells the content of any of the 15 shampoo and body wash products at the amount customers want by filling up a refill container made with coconut shells. The containers are recyclable, while the contents are always on discount, making the station the focus of attention for its economical and green experience.

The station only sells content made within 100 days and the containers are disinfected before a refill using ultraviolet LED lamp, providing customers a new experience, while making them feel safe.

Sr. Vice President Oh Jeong-hwa at Sustainability Management Division of Amorepacific said, “We unveiled our refill station for the first time in line with the demand of times seeking refill products and a change in the way we sell” and added “we look forward to the positive response from our customers by delivering a new experience, eco-friendly value, and high-quality service.”

On Tuesday, October 20, Amorepacific opened Amore Store Gwanggyo at a lifestyle center called ‘Alleyway Gwanggyo’. It is an experience-based beauty store where customers can meet and experience 40 brands and 2,000 products of Amorepacific.
