Amorepacific's flagship brands achieved record-breaking sales during Amazon's Black Friday & Cyber Monday (BFCM) online shopping event, showcasing strong performance on the world's largest e-commerce platform.
Laneige, Sulwhasoo, and innisfree, leading the growth trajectory, spearheaded Amorepacific's success with impressive results in the Americas. Compared to the previous year, Laneige witnessed a 127% increase in sales, Sulwhasoo a 308% increase, and innisfree a 70% increase.
Laneige stood out, with its signature products, Lip Glowy Balm and Lip Sleeping Mask, securing the top two spots in the Lip Balm category. These products also ranked second and fourth, respectively, in the broader Beauty & Personal Care category, solidifying their status as global bestsellers.
A notable outcome of this BFCM event was the strong performance of brands not yet officially launched in the Americas. Strategic efforts were implemented to maximize product visibility during the event period, via AI-driven search keyword optimization to enhance customer touchpoints and amplified social media campaigns through collaborations with U.S.-based influencers.
As a result, Mise en scène achieved a remarkable 1,092% increase in sales compared to the previous year, with its flagship product, Original Hair Serum, capturing the top position in the Hair Styling Oil category. Next-generation global brands, such as Aestura (199% increase), IOPE (434% increase), and illiyoon (293% increase), also demonstrated substantial sales growth.
