  • Participates in ACAIC 2026 to exchange the latest derma-care research with global dermatologists and experts

AESTURA, Amorepacific's authentic derma brand, participated in ACAIC(Asian Clinical Aesthetic Innovations Conference) 2026, held on June 27 local time at the Harvard Club of New York City in New York, USA.

At the conference, attended by more than 200 dermatologists and industry experts from around the world, AESTURA introduced its latest research achievements in skin barrier science and sensitive skin care, while engaging in academic exchange with global researchers.

Dr. Richard D. Granstein, Chair of AESTURA's U.S. Dermatology Advisory Board and professor of dermatology at Weill Cornell Medicine, delivered a presentation titled "Stress Effects on the Skin and Inflammatory Skin Disorders: Does Stress Really Make My Rash Worse?" In his presentation, Dr. Granstein provided a comprehensive review of various research findings and explained the mechanisms of skin–neuro–immune interactions. He also introduced studies suggesting that stress may aggravate skin inflammation through the peripheral nervous system, as well as research cases indicating that cosmetic-based skin soothing and psychological stress-relief care may help improve certain inflammatory skin conditions.

Aiden Park, Head of Advanced Beauty Research at Amorepacific R&I Center, gave a presentation titled "Exposome Effects on the Skin Barrier: Is Your Daily Life Quietly Weakening Your Skin?" Park highlighted that barrier damage caused by harmful environmental factors, or the exposome, is a key driver of accelerated aging, and introduced Amorepacific's research achievements aimed at restoring healthy skin barrier function. He also newly presented the efficacy of Hydroxydaidzein in improving stress-induced skin barrier damage and Epicatechin, derived from green tea, in protecting the skin from multiple external aggressors. In addition, he shared commercialization achievements of Amorepacific's proprietary high-density DermaON® technology, which precisely mimics the lipid structure of the stratum corneum, proposing "restoring skin barrier function" as a new direction for global derma care.

As an official sponsor of ACAIC 2026, AESTURA operated an exhibition space for global dermatologists and industry experts and carried out a range of presentations as well as online and offline communication programs. The brand also shared its research direction based on Amorepacific's technology vision, "Holistic Longevity Solution," which aims to comprehensively strengthen the skin's defense and recovery against external aggressors. Through these activities, AESTURA further reinforced its position as a derma brand in the U.S. market, backed by its skin-science-based research capabilities.

An AESTURA brand representative said, "It is highly meaningful for us to present AESTURA's skin barrier research capabilities on an academic platform joined by global dermatologists and industry experts. We will continue to showcase our research and technological competitiveness on the global academic stage, deepen our understanding of the causes of skin barrier damage, and further strengthen trust as a dermatology-based derma brand that supports the restoration of healthy skin function."

Meanwhile, AESTURA is a leading K-derma brand that has grown based on the derma heritage that began with Pacific Pharma in 1982 and Amorepacific's research expertise. The brand has strengthened its professional credibility through accumulated technologies grounded in skin barrier research and collaborations with dermatologists and will continue to expand its presence in the global market through authentic communication and ongoing research.
