To enhance the efficiency of waste management, Amorepacific classifies waste generated at each business site by material and type. This classification system provides the basis for improving recycling effectiveness and achieving waste reduction targets.
To support efficient recycling management, Amorepacific has developed a proprietary environmental operations index and uses this framework to continuously refine its recycling processes.
The company also works to improve recycling performance by identifying waste treatment providers with strong recycling capabilities and conducting regular on-site inspections of contracted providers.
Zero Waste to Landfill
Amorepacific has set a mid- to long-term goal of achieving zero waste to landfill across its global production sites and continues to actively explore and implement circular resource solutions.
At the Osan AMORE Beauty Park, waste is classified into 21 categories and recycled through 12 different methods. More than half of the dust waste generated at the site is repurposed as road base material, further advancing resource circularity.
