Also, we will achieve zero-waste-to-landfill and resource efficiency simultaneously by recycling wastes in landfills.
Reduce the use of plastics in product packaging and create 100% reusable, recyclable or compostable plastic packaging materials
Amorepacific has established a 4R Reduce, Recycle, Reuse, Return strategy for plastic packaging to reduce the use of virgin plastics and enhance the of packaging recyclability through innovative design. Additionally, by developing refillable containers, the company is expanding the reuse of product containers and is actively conducting a campaign to collect used cosmetic containers for recycling.
Invest KRW 10 billion into biodiversity conservation efforts and increase the use of RSPO certified palm oil to 90% or more by 2023
Amorepacific is committed to preserving biodiversity based on its longtime expertise of research in biological resources including our heritage ingredients such as green tea, ginseng, and beans. Also, we will promote responsible sourcing of product ingredients by shifting to ingredients derived from sustainably cultivated palm trees.
