AMOREPACIFIC Group is striving to proactively provide sustainable products to customers. To this end, we use raw materials that have a minimized negative impact on the environment and purchase raw materials for mutual growth with the local community.
Using Sustainable Palm Oil in New products
Amorepacific Group is expanding the utilization of sustainable palm oil to mitigate the environmental impact arising from the production process of raw materials, such as tropical deforestation. In the year 2022, a total of 428 new products from our brands like Sulwhasoo, mise en scène, HERA, and ETUDE incorporated sustainable palm oil.
Ingredient use via beautiful fair trade
Since 2010, AMOREPACIFIC Group has been using specifically sourced crops as raw materials for cosmetics by purchasing them through "Beautiful Fair Trade". In the process of selecting and purchasing plant raw materials, we aim to uphold the three principles: coexistence with the local community, safety of the raw materials, and protection of the ecosystem.

In 2022, we utilized ingredients sourced through the Beautiful Fair Trade in five new products from brands like Sulwhasoo and Mamonde. To facilitate this, we purchased 30 ingredients worth KRW 3.3 billion made from 23 types of agricultural produce from regions participating in the Beautiful Fair Trade. By using these trustworthy ingredients, we enhanced consumer confidence while contributing to community development through fair pricing deals with local farmers.
